St James the Less is the ancient parish church in the northern part of Lancing. We who worship here are very conscious that we are the latest in a long line of Christian people for whom these churches have been their spiritual home. It is our mission under God to continue to pray for our community and bring to it afresh the good news of Jesus Christ.


At St James the Less, you’ll find a warm welcome, whether you’ve worshipped here before or not. We look forward to meeting you.

The church is open most days

from 8.30 am - 5.30 pm throughout the year
